Role in the project
Project Partner
Besides the WP1 and WP2 IIE is participating in WP3 Labour market and employment, WP4 Coaching and Experts for Business and WP6 Motivation and Skills. Within the WP3 we are responsible for preparation of the study on “Analysis of support structures for Best Agers employment” and together with Wirtschaftsakademie Kiel for preparation, implementation and testing of Best Agers strategy. Within the WP4 we are preparing a working paper that will contain needs for expert services in West Pomerania, Pomerania and Estonia. In the WP6 we are taking part in Activity 1 “Developing a Best Ager Activation Toolbox”, Activity 2 “Developing curricula for training Best Agers”.
About us
Institute for European Initiatives is a non-governmental organisation that facilitates preparation, implementation and settlement of EU projects for Polish local authorities and other public equivalent bodies or NGOs, mainly for the ones located in Pomeranian Voivodship. In broader perspective, Institute operates on Polish territory facilitating contacts and cooperation between Polish and foreign partners.
Institute for European Initiatives, by engaging the know-how of its members, has vast experience in preparation and realisation of EU-funded projects. Currently Institute is implementing several projects within national and European funds, among others within Pomeranian Regional Operational Programme, Human Capital, South Baltic, Baltic Sea Region, Norwegian Financial Mechanism, Youth in Action etc.
Institute cooperates with diverse public entities, local authorities, public equivalent institutions and non-governmental organizations, which have very different needs and characteristics.
Why we participate in Best Agers
As a NGO from Pomorskie Voivodeship we recognize the need to support new activities, initiatives and to promote projects which support economic and social growth of the region, and as such we consider the Best Agers project. Planned results of the project will be a valuable assistance for the Best Agers from our region and the information and conclusions acquired through its implementation will be very useful in preparing regional demographic and social policy and employment policy in Pomorskie Voivodeship.
What is happening right now
Right now we are preparing the study on “Analysis of support structures for Best Agers employment”. We are also cooperating with other partners, preparing data for the implementation of the activities. Together with GUT we are preparing a Partner’s meeting in Gdansk.
