CONNECT Latvia is a non-profit membership organization that help entrepreneurs, inventors and start-ups. The mission of Connect is to encourage formation of start-ups. Start-up focus - innovative, technological, high added value and export potential. By organizing activities and offering advice, Connect supports and improves the opportunities for entrepreneurs and inventors.
Why we participate in Best Agers
There is an unrevealed potential when it comes to exploiting knowledge and experience of Best Agers for the benefit of society.
We would like to develop a better place of networking for Best Agers so that they could easier and faster exploit their skills and know-how to assist different groups and individuals of the society in various ways.

What´s happening right now
Work with entrepreneurs, inventors and start-ups (some of them are also Best Agers) who have ideas, inventions or business plans and are willing to commercialize them is continuously done involving Senior Advisors (Best Agers) as experts.
An initiative "Work and live in countryside" is started to help Best Agers (and not only) who are homeless to find job and living place in countryside. Best Agers are involved as key experts in the training process and management. This initiative is an example of the role Best Agers can play to benefit the whole society (i.e. by using their skills and implementing their own ideas that benefit society). In order to better implement the initiative exchange of experience with the partners from other regions (i.e. WAK in Germany) is being conducted.
The first Latvian Invention Exhibition was organized on 16 December 2010 in Riga.
