The WEP is the business development agency of the County of Pinneberg.
Why we participate in Best Agers
We would like to find out in what way business companies in our home region and in the baltic sea region have already dealt with the workforce potential that is given by the age group 55+.
We expect to identify best practice examples, which can ideally use as a blue print for other companies
Finally, we would rise attention to the economic impact of demographic change for our local entrepreneurs
What´s happening right now
The WEP is working - together with the County of Pinneberg – at a qualitative study of employers’ attitudes towards the employment of elderly workers. In this context, we seek to distribute ~2.000 questionnaires among regional companies, so as to gain a detailed overview on the impact of demographic change on local labour markets and entrepreneurial strategies.
